I didn't post yesterday right.
So yesterday started off with training. Some new China guys came, like Penguin and this other guy called Wang Cai I think. Anyway, that Wang guy was h-i-l-a-r-i-o-u-s. Christine, JiaWei, Celeste and I trained with him. And he's just super funnayeee. I don't feel like elaborating. Long story (: Oh and he has gay socks, like it has flowers on it, ew. But still, he's nice.
Training ended at 12 I think. Met up with QianYu and waited for NgXin and Daphne to come before going to KAP for Macs. Went back to school to meet this Joey person who's in charge of the CIP. We were given some cute bears and memo pads to sell at $3 and $2 each respectively. Yeah it was door-to-door sales around the Bukit Timah area.
Ohmy the houses there are fantabulous. Absolutely huge and mansion-like. And we don't actually meet the owners/maids face to face, we press the doorbell which has a speaker and a camera and talk to them through there. Went around the estate beside Nanyang, I think the nicer and larger houses are located there.
We walked for quite long and managed to earn quite a bit. Bus-ed to Watten Estate (is that how you spell it?) afterwards. Man, the people there are stingy ttm. We didn't earn a single thing there. Got tired and a lil' dejected, so we went to Starbucks at Coro for White Chocolate Mocha I think. We couldn't find seats thus we went to Coro's staircase to slack for awhile.
Proceeded to Nanyang Primary's nearby estate, King's Road or Queen's Road something like that. Went to visit Daphne's aunt to ask for donations, hehe. Walked around the houses there, and we managed to earn quite a bit there too.
Altogether, we earned at least $250. 'Bout $300? Idk around there. And that's cos some residents there were just super generous, like they donate $50 and only ask for a few bears and memo pads even though that's worth like 10 bears and 10 memo pads. There were 3 owners in total who donated $50 I think. Yeah 3. How awesome is that? :D Hah, I must be super charming or something :D
We did the door-to-door sales for about 4 hours. I was perspiring like mad and it was SUPER hot. Some owners probably pitied us or something. There was this maid who asked us if we needed an umbrella, haha how nice.
Yeah anyway, it ended at 6pm. Went to meet my mum and brothers at The Cathay. Wow the cinema there is HUGE. And super duper glam. We actually wanted to watch Killers or Knight and Day, but they weren't showing it anymore ): So we watched Toy Story 3 in 3D. It was actually quite a nice show. Like it has a touching ending. And cool animation. And Cathay has awesome awesome 3D glasses that looks like real sunglasses. Not the plastic-paper kind of 3D glasses that Shaw and GV has.
Today:
Went to school at 8.30am. DSA trials were held today. And my, the applicants are actually quite pro. So, we helped to be umpires all the way until 12. Super boring. Went to KAP afterwards with Christine for Macs, AGAIN. Damn, I feel sinful. So, after having lunch, we went back home. I need to finish my yue4 du2 bao4 gao4 by today (:
