Gah I have no idea what to blog about. Fine short and sweet.
Er, Saturday.
Chinese tuition. And I just realised how much of an over-achiever
HuangLaoShi's son is. He used to study in
HCI, scored straight
msg of 1s in his four years there (
wtf, considering that
HCI exams are actually harder that
NY's and i scored a 1.3 T_T), went on to
HCJC and scored 7 distinctions.
Wtfff. Oh and in Sec 1, he got
exempted from
EOYs because he scored ridiculously high for his previous exams. And now, he's in army in some high pose, and about to go to Cambridge on a scholarship. Cambridge gives him $2000+ for monthly allowance (excluding the fully-
subsidised fees) and the army pays him $3000 monthly (because he's on some prestigious army scholarship at which only 12 guys get to receive it yearly, I know right, since when did army have scholarships. Not the point). But anyway, that's like $5000+ a month for a 19-year-old guy who ain't even working. But yeah. If i continue going on about he's achievements, I'm gonna get myself even more depressed. And oh, I forgot to mention, he's not even those mugger kind, like he's a gamer, computer gamer who doesn't really study much. I've seen him before and he doesn't even look like the smart-
aleck kind. Looks are
deceivable. But
anw, he went to Melbourne for FPS comps and came in second. Plus he's an all-rounder. Like he came in first in the
Canoeing Nationals.
Okay, I'm really feeling demoralised now, and I can't believe i just dedicated a whole paragraph to that guy (his name's
KevinNgSiJie i think, for all you girls interested out there *winks at Christine*).
Sidetrackeddddddd. So moving on. Went to LP afterwards, Daphne couldn't make it since she's was overseas ):

backkkk. Watched Prince of Persia afterwards. Nice show, I have no idea why the newspapers gave it such low ratings (2 stars).
