Damn, Spain lost to Switzerland. Switzerland?! They lost to a lousy team, unbelievable D: Spain attempted 14 goals but scored none, while Switzerland attempted 2 goals and scored one. Walao. Gah nvm.
Anyway, I changed my skin! (: It's screwed in IE but fine in other browsers (i think).
So today.
Woke up at 9. I was happily watching TV even though I was supposed to finish up my CL SIA. But, my brother was hogging the desktop that had the most decent Chinese writing thingy so I used it as an excuse not to do CL SIA. Hahah. Okay not a very good excuse. Oh anyway, I was facebooking, and now you can like coments, awesome!
So at about 1.10, the CIP person called me and told me that CIP was changed to 2pm instead of 5pm. So I hurriedly called Daphne/HoQianYu and NgXin before chionging to get ready and stuff. And it was at Plaza Sing, which we very stupidly thought was at Orchard. Since Daphne/QianYu had just finished training, they went straight to Orchard first, together with NgXin. And just as I reached Orchard, they called me and told me that Plaza Sing was actually at Dhoby Ghaut ._. Damn, I have a lousy sense of direction. But anyway, we chionged to take the MRT going towards the opposite direction and we reached quite late, at about 2.20. Not that the student in charge minded i think.
We had to sell badges at 1 for $3 and 5 for $12 to raise funds for the prevention of animal cruelty. Oh which reminds me, yesterday I stumbled upon this facebook video about a woman torturing a cat by her high heels, it was totally gory and sick I think I'm gonna get haunted for these few weeks. So anyway, I couldn't find the exact video link, but I could only find the pictures one.

Okay, sidetrackkkked. Anyway, I realised that some people are actually quite benevolent, like this mother who gave us extra money and told us to keep the change. Aww, she was so nice. But some people were just so urgh, totally unbrearable. And we had this tactic, to target mothers with kids around them, cos usually the kids bug them to buy these hand drawn badges :D So, for the first part, we earned $40 which is not bad, actually, very good.
Afterwards, we went out of PlazaSing and
we saw WonderGirls! -Screams- They were here for a meet and greet session. This kind security guard let us through the barriers and we were trying to snap pictures of them. Except that the irritating paparazzi was hogging the front row, not to mention that their expensive-looking and HUGE photography equipment was totally blocking everything. And this guy standing in front of NgXin and I jumped on top of another guy just to be able to take a photo of WonderGirls. Hahah, totally amusing. Anyway, they were like tall and quite pretty, although some of them look totally plastic-y :\ But well, most kpop stars have plastic, like jaejoong. And most of SNSD.
So after awhile, we went back to the meeting point to get more badges since we were running out of variety. And this time, they had rock candy! (: So we grab a few and went of to KFC to have lunch. Although I don't think we were supposed to do that but I don't think the students in charge will ever find out. We actually wanted to go to the food court to eat instead to save money, but the food there was even more ex than KFC ._. Anyway, at KFC, Daphne spilled her mountain dew accidentally on herself, and she screamed super loudly (not on purpose). And everyone looked at us. E-v-e-r-y-o-n-e. Not kidding. We probably just spoiled Nanyang's image.
Afterwards, we continued selling stuff. But our productivity rate was super low and we only managed to sell ONE badge ($3). And it was to a fellow Nanyanger. So, well, not exactly counted. We got kinda desperate we actually resorted to buying the rock candy oureselves hahah. Two packets of rock candy actually which makes it $5. But it was actually because we were quite hungry. Anyway, by then, it had been more than two hours of walking around, and our legs were aching, or mine and Daphne's at least. Nevermind, we're suffering for a gooood cause, right?
Decided to go to Starbucks to rest and drink something while we went to sort out he badges. Sorry, this is completely random, but OMG South Korea just scored an own goal. Awww, how sad. Okay moving on, we bought White Chocolate Mocha Ice Blended I think and shared. Cost $7 I think but after splitting cost it was quite reasonable. Just so happens, the student in charge was in Starbucks too, she probably thought we were slacking or something.
So we continued on our streetsales but epic failed at it since no one wanted to buy. And I always thought that angmohs were more generous but today's charity thingy proved me wrong. Not a single angmoh we approached bought our stuff ):
At about 5 we went back to the meeting point and gave back all the unsold stuff. We managed to raise $48 which is quite goood right? :D
Went to Times to slack afterwards. We grabbed a few magazines and settled down at some corner to read them. We actually weren't allowed to do so, but I doubt any of the Times staff actually cared. So anyway, I realised how shitty Singapore mags are like Teens and Teenage. Like NgXin and I flipped through it and got totally bored. Only the American ones were nice cos it was like gossipy and stuff. But there were more expensive ): Like way more expensive.
Oh and Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato broke off ): They were like a decade long BFFs after appearing in Barney. Awww sad. And this magazine (I forgot its name) bieber-fied some superstairs by putting JB's hairstyle on them. And they looked totally horrible. Like R Patz look horrible in JB's hairstyle. And according to that magazine, the top 5 singers are: Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez and lastly Miley Cyrus. HAHAH no Lady Gaga, I'm starting to detest that woman. But I don't agree on the JB beating Taylor part. I agree that JB is talented cos he can sing, but he can't compose songs. Unlike Taylor who is actually good at both. Like all her songs are awesome and self-composed. And even though I like Katy Perry, I don't exactly agree that she should top the list, but well. And Ke$ha's the top breakthrough artiste. Yuck. I hate her. She looks like she's on drugs (and no, I don't mean love drugs only).
Anyway moving on, we went off at about 6.15pm I think. And yay study date with Christine tmr! (: To study for Chem and Culture. Yuck culture. Ohmytian confirm fail.
