First day of Semester 2 today (:
Dragged myself out of bed at 5am, took bus 48 with my brother as usual, and this time, we overslept, but thank goodness this HCJC guy woke us up just at the bus stop that we needed to alight at.
Reached school at 6.45am-ish. Went to class and presented Jessie and NgXin with their presents :D And my handwritten card. Hehe hope you guys liked it. And NOOO, Divya chopped off her longlonglong hair. Now it's much shorter ): It used to be able to wound around her neck twice, now it's only like halfway through one round. Awwww, why did you do that?! D:
Class started at 8.45am. Art lesson first. This term, we were having our ceramic module. Thank goodness, no more drawing. Cos you have to hand in your drawings every week, and someone as lazy as me seldom hands mine in. And for ceramics, you only have to hand in the final product yippee. So, we started off with making pinch-pots. And MsYap sounded very, very wrong when she explained some parts. Anyway, I kinda failed at it, since according to MsYap, my pot-walls were too thin. But KindDaphne helped me so my end result turned out pretty okay. Except that it was exceptionally huge since I was greedy and took a bigger piece of clay. Oops.
After Art, was Bio. Changed science modules this term, so we had a new teacher - Benny Koh. Omg, he loooks very toot-ish. I'm sorry, but that's true. And he has freakish-ly huge eyes (negative way) that makes it seem like he is always staring at you, and he has a freaky smile too. Which makes him look like a pedo, I'm serious. Scary. So he made us do some basic intro, which I just spouted out some crap. So basically the whole lesson was about that.
Recess. My, the canteen looks like a foodcourt now, and all the vendors now have to stick to some sort of 'uniform'. The school's yet to change the tables and chairs, but overall, I think it has quite a posh-ier outlook. But still, I miss the old wanton mee and chicken rice ): And the queues were horrendously long. Luckily, BennyKoh let us off early, hehe.
Hmm, had LA afterwards, so basically we had to just discuss about a day of our June Hols. And my whole JuneHols was so boring, I practically had nothing to say. HAHAH BaiHui's one was interesting. It was about her encounter with a real life 60+ year old pedo on the run. And that guy even offerred her money to *ahem*. Gosh. Sicko.
Chinese period afterwards. You know we're having two teachers this semester, so that YeLaoShi can 'focus on the weaker ones'. The new teacher's ChenLaoShi, who's a youngish teacher, barely out of Uni I think. The whole lesson was boring, YeLaoShi just introduced ChenLaoShi and gave us back our worksheets before going through them. And oh yes, Chen-guy's hairstyle looks really like JoKwon's. I'm serious. Just that it looks nicer. Gah damn sian, starting from tmr, I'll be seperated from Daphne and just about every good friend that I have in 1/11 ): Omg, sure boring.
Training afterwards, Paired doubles with Christine, and we won Joy and Crystal. :D Yeah, finally, after losing to them so many times. Anw, Chen JL cut down the training time so we ended off at 4.30pm. Something to do with him rushing off to Marist Primary to coach the students there, since their nationals are held tmr, something like that. And because of that, there's no training tmr muahahha. Li JL will not be freeeee, since he has to coach YuNeng I think. YAYY. I was half planning on ponning tmr's training when Chen announced this, heheheheh.
Anyway, we'll be having new modules this semester to take over NanZhongQuanTheDreaded and Dance. Music and Home Econs I think. Yay that sounds more interesting. Thank goodness, no more NZQ.
Okay byeeee, off to study for tmr's culture test! (:
