» I never knew I could feel that much and that's the way i loved you, @ Monday, May 24, 2010
HELLO! :D I'm doing History assignment 4 now and I'm strangely enjoying it. Weird.
Gah I've been slacking for the past three days, as in I didn't complete a single thing. Yup. Not a single thing (besides 5 questions of math which doesn't really count). So, I've decided that i shall be hardworking for this week, and the week after, and the week after after. :D And once I've completed ALL my hols homework, i shall slack, big time (((:
Yay.
Today (:
Malay Culture:
Hmm. Watched some performances about some Malay Dance. I forgot it's name but anyway, it was really really really boring everyone was falling asleep. Until they do the weird screams that really creep me out. But yeah. And we had to learn the dance, which was
waaaaay boring. Followed by performing on stage, where my group flopped.
Yay. (:
Toy Stories:
Visit to The Mint
Museum of Toys today :D I actually thought it would be boring, but it was surprisingly fun. So, we reached the
Museum at 12pm, around there. And the
Museum had five stories :O We skipped the fifth storey as it was supposedly the most boring level and thus, we started from the fourth storey. I can't
remeber what each storey's theme were but there were err, Characters, Out Of Space,
errr, I cant really remember, but something along these lines.
Has a fun time looking at the toys and marvelling at their prices. It's ridiculous that they cost thousands of dollars, even ten thousands of dollars. As in, the most expensive toy there cost US$35,000 (totally
wtf right) and its just a-mickey-pushing-a-cart kind of tin statue which is relatively small, like 5cm x 10cm in dimension. I know right. Apparently, there's only 2 in the whole world. Which is still ridiculously over-priced. To me, at least. I mean, how do you even categorize it under the toy category if its so expensive that you can't play with it. Then, wouldn't it be not a toy? And you can't have any sunlight shining on these toys because well, they get damaged due to exposure to UV rays
blahblahblah.
And there was these sets of robots, each costing like $15,000.
WTF. Because they're like half-a-century old and are one of its kind (
hand painted). And no offence, they look like crap. You know what, i should just start building toys that are one of its kind and sell them in 2060s and get rich. (: Whee~
And the owner of this
Museum is some rich guy, who has a passion for collecting toys. Or in other words, he's a toy
collector. And this five-level Museum only contains 10% of his whole collection. And the other 90% of his toy collections are at a warehouse, and the rotate the toys once every six months. Wow. I've got nothing to say. I should just rob his warehouse and become a millionaire, or even a billionaire (: This guy sure has loads of money to throw around hurh. On toys. Meh. I doubt I'll ever earned half of the money he did, or even a quarter of it. But for all you know, i may become a toy collector in future and earn loads of money auctioning off the toys i own (: Hmm, nah. Highly impossible.
Okay, back to the point. So, after hanging around the Museum for about 2 hours, we headed back to NY. Had training afterwards, today was quite okay (: Finally paired with my awesome doubles partner, CHRISTINE! :D Yay, after not doing do for a long time. And we managed to win quite a lot of people :D Woohooo ~
Okok BYE! :D
