Technically, school's ended. And sabbaticals are starting tmr. Not that im actually looking forward to it, because Mrs Westvik is one of the teachers in charge :\ And she hates me. Like today, she still gave me The Stare when she walked past me -.- But well, i shall make the most of my last week in school before the hols begin (:
So these few days, I've been rather free. And I've been reading Dear John, yeah the book. And it's a really really touching + sad love story. And, I realised that I've not completed reading a single book this year (besides Dear John). I did try, but i usually end up not finishing the book due to homework. Meh.
Which reminds me, this June hols will be helll. What with the shitloads of SIAs, assignments to complete ): And also the CIP programmes that I've been crazy enough to sign up for with my equally crazy friends. But well, thats still okay i guess. Doing CIP is goooooood, right? So I'm giving a try in errrrr, asking for street donations (yeah the tin boxes kind that you see on the street), promoting the prevention of animal cruelty on the streets, selling goodies and stuff on the streets to raise donations, as well and some others which i well, forgot. But i guess it should be fun! (:
And Christine and I have arranged loads of study dates to complete our Chinese SIA together, the one where we have to finish reading 10 storybooks from the library. Which is just plain crazy. And joy, I've not even started on ONE book :\ Plus it's almost impossible (for me at least) to complete reading 10 CHINESE books within a short span of 1 month. So yeah, I'm probably gonna just read the blurb and browse through the story before doing my Chinese SIA.
So anyway, moving on to today.
ICT: Continueing on our Movie Maker project. Which I've finished, except for the burning it into the disc part.
Math: Err, can't really remember except that we did some algebraic linear equations stuff.
PE: Mdm Teo didn't come! So we couldn't proceed with our Mini-Carnival which is basically a mini competition in our class. Aw sad. Because we (Daphne, Ng Xin, Divya, QianYu, Jessie and I) would have definitely owned. But anyway, we decided to play Captain's Ball. And we stopped halfway because of i forgot what. And the teacher that was supposed to take over Mdm Teo didn't even appear, so we just went for an early recess.
CME: We (Daphne, Jessie, Divya, QianYu and I) screwed up our otherwise cliche skit/presentation. Well, beacuse we over-relied on our scripts and because we laughed too much. But well, we still scored fairly okay i guess - 16/20. Which is still an A1. Not that it is actually graded but yeah. BaiHui's group's presentation/skit was really cliche. And i enjoyed it (:
LA: Err, oh yeah Ms Lim was talking about her friend who passed on in I-forgot-what-country due to a road accident, and she was talking about how short life is and that anyone could die anytime. But when she was talking about her friend passing on, she didn't exactly looked sad/pained or anything, just normal. SADIST.
And she started talking about her friend who had a daughter studying in NY. And her friend refused to tell her who her daughter was. And she actually thought that it was me since her friend supposedly looked like me. And she sounded horrified when she said that. GAH. In the end, her daughter was in Sec 2 -.- And she sounded relieved. How insulting. Sorry you guava, my mum wont be so dumb as to have a friend like you (: Seriously.
And then, we had book card reading. Which i spent half the time sleeping. Boring.
Chem: Terence Heng was being a bitch today. He halved half of hour class Assignment 6 scores because we handed in one day late. Which is ridiculous. Because it wasn't our fault since no one collected from us, and we didn't knew the due date. And because of that, even though i scored 14/15, my marks became 14/2 = 7. Yes, a bloody 7/15 which is failure score in case you didn't know. And half the class scored that mark or 7.5. Ridiculous huh. Some people even cried cos it apparently has quite a high weightage in CA2 i think. And when we went to confront him on our marks, he actually had a smirk on his face. And he refused to mark my Assignment 7 just because i handed it in today and not yesterday. And thus, im gonna get a zero. wtf. Plus it's graded, so is Assigenment 6. WTF. Gee, Thank God it was his last day today. BYE MR HENG I/WE WONT MISS YOU AND YOUR ATTITUDE PROBLEM. How did he even win a Prime Minister Book Prize? With his bloody attitidue? And I'm gonna get Aika Winata aka our ORIGINAL Chem teacher who is supposedly MUCH BETTER, MORE RESPONSIBLE than that gay Terence Heng to mark my paper and give back the marks that we deserve next term. Screw Terence Heng, thank God this is the last time I'll be seeing him.
After school, Christine and I went to help Ms Lydia Teo to sort out the open house goodie bags. And we spent about 2 hours helping out (: But it was fun though, and we had an exclusive first-peak at the open house goodie bags (: And i left school at about 5? And I'm planning to take a break today and slack my whole day off + sleep early. Yes.
Bye! :D
